New electronic service from the National Revenue Agency for VAT on bad debts.
From October 2023, the National Revenue Agency offers an electronic service that allows suppliers to check whether their clients have deducted VAT on supplies related to irrecoverable receivables. This facilitates corrections to the tax base and accrued VAT under the VAT Act and saves time and uncertainty for businesses.
